Amnesty International: Write for Rights

Every day, around the world, people from all walks of life are imprisoned, tortured or killed for peacefully exercising their basic human rights.

And every day, Amnesty International works to free prisoners of conscience, stop ‘disappearances’ and torture, and speak for those whose voices have been silenced.

On Dec 10th (International Human Rights Day), I will be writing letters to authorities around the world for prisoners of conscience who are at risk of torture, who have urgent health needs, who disappear in detention and for whom Amnesty has an urgent legal concern, such as unlawful arrest or incommunicado detention. World Of Warcraft & Hey Christian!!!!

So this is a post for Christian. It is a terribly geeky post but too bad. If you dont like it dont read it! We were talking about our Warriors and i wanted him to see all my stuff but i knew i’d forget what it all was called. To the left is my character, Xilowang; an Undead Warrior on the server Kil’Jaeden. I play with my boyfriend, Yenlowang, and my roomate Sorrack. I was playing alliance on Lightbringer, for those who dont know, as Esgalduin (Night Elf Druid), and Eowyndall (Human Mage) mostly. Anyways….She has some nice gear as you will see below:

Having some problems!

Ok so figuring this wordpress stuff out isnt so hard, but i am having a few difficulties.  I apologize for the way it looks below, im not sure why worpress did that to all my pics and writing and didnt seperate the posts really nicely….hmmmm…  If anyone knows why please let me know!   Anyways, i will be working away at this, and hopefully i can find a template that i like better….i really want something dark and redish.  Anyways, thats the update, and please dont mind my wordpressmess!

So my mum took me on a trip to Vancouver today. We caught the ferry over and first went to the Fairmont (i think) for lime margaritas. We only had time for 1 of course before going to see Phantom of the Opera. I was a little worried till earlier that the players would not be as good as the last time i saw Phantom (about 16 years ago i saw Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford..awesome!). So I managed to get one picture in the theater, of some of the cherubs at the side of the stage, before an usher told me i couldnt take any. It was intermission, i didnt even try during thats just rude. So It was awesome, blew me away. John Cudia as the Phantom was very powerful and expressive, really they all were. My Favorite character, Christine Daae was played by Jennifer Hope Wills. There were a few times when i questioned the way she expressed certain small unimportant parts, but then at the really good parts she pulled through with a vengance and i loved her. Also, i found myself more enjoying the character of Raoul, played by Adam Monley, as a child i always was on the side of the phantom for some reason…lol. So afterwards we didnt want to sit on a ferry for 2 hours so we decided to take the float plane back. It was amazing! The first time i have flown and i must say it is a whole new perspective up there. I plan on flying lots in the future. I took some really good pictures on the plane ride too!

A crazy thought….

So I was discussing a whole mishmash of things with our roommate and i had a crazy thought.

When it comes to the body, we have millions of different life forms inside us keeping us alive. Well not neccessarily “life forms”, but you have all your cells and whatnot making you work.

When it comes to the Universe, it is made up of millions of planets, stars, moons, and so on working together to make the whole universe. I see it as similar to the human body (or any life form body). Our galaxy is just 1 of millions in the universe.

Now, when it comes to god, im not exactly a believer…im sure you can tell because i cant be bothered to capitalize the g in god. Anyhoo…I dont consider myself an athiest either; i do believe there is more out there to experience other than living this life. I have a very eclectic belief structure that isnt completely defined yet, as i am contantly questioning what i believe. So now we come to the insane thought i had…..

What if there is a god. What if we are just microscopic cells that make up the galaxy, that makes up the universe (and in comes the question i have always asked, if there is a god where is he? behind the universe? shaw….likely…), and that universe is making up the cells that are running a bigger person, god. What if that bigger person needs us to run his cells, and blood and muscles etc. Would that mean that there is a bigger planet (of some sort) with people made up of universes? If i was one of these people made of universes, would the galaxies inside me pray to the great auliya? If thats so, would that mean that when we die, we actually would get pushed out of god’s hair folicles and nails because we are dead cells of him? Oh so many questions…

Anyways, just some twisted food for thought…might make a good book plot!
