Angel of music, guide and guardian, Grant to me your Glory!

So my mum took me on a trip to Vancouver today. We caught the ferry over and first went to the Fairmont (i think) for lime margaritas. We only had time for 1 of course before going to see Phantom of the Opera. I was a little worried till earlier that the players would not be as good as the last time i saw Phantom (about 16 years ago i saw Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford..awesome!). So I managed to get one picture in the theater, of some of the cherubs at the side of the stage, before an usher told me i couldnt take any. It was intermission, i didnt even try during thats just rude. So It was awesome, blew me away. John Cudia as the Phantom was very powerful and expressive, really they all were. My Favorite character, Christine Daae was played by Jennifer Hope Wills. There were a few times when i questioned the way she expressed certain small unimportant parts, but then at the really good parts she pulled through with a vengance and i loved her. Also, i found myself more enjoying the character of Raoul, played by Adam Monley, as a child i always was on the side of the phantom for some reason…lol. So afterwards we didnt want to sit on a ferry for 2 hours so we decided to take the float plane back. It was amazing! The first time i have flown and i must say it is a whole new perspective up there. I plan on flying lots in the future. I took some really good pictures on the plane ride too!
